Q What is Chiropractic Depot?
A Chiropractic Depot is a service that will provide storefronts inside of Doctors' and Associations' websites. These storefronts carry a variety of health, wellness, and fitness products. Patients can purchase items from the storefront inside doctor's website and doctors can purchase supplies and products from inside their association's website storefront. All items purchased are shipped directly to the purchaser's address. For each sale that is made on the storefront, the doctor or association will earn a commission.

Q How can I become a part of Chiropractic Depot?
A Vendors and manufacturers can become a part of Chiropractic Depot by submitting products for listing on Chiropractic Depot storefronts. Submitted products must be approved by Chiropractic Depot before they can be listed.

Q How can I get a product listed on a Chiropractic Depot website?
A There are two types of Chiropractic Depot storefronts. In order to get a product considered for listing, you must complete and submit a” Product Listing Application” form. After submission, your product is considered and if accepted, it is listed in one, or both, of the appropriate storefronts.

Q What are the two types of Chiropractic Depot storefronts?
A

Chiropractic Depot will maintain two types of storefronts. One will be a Consumer Storefront . The second type of storefront will be a Professional Storefront .

Q What is the Chiropractic Depot's Consumer Storefront?
A

The Chiropractic Depot consumer storefront is the storefront that appears inside a doctor's website with the NYK Premium Package service. This storefront will allow manufactures and vendors of health, wellness, and fitness products access to potentially hundreds of thousands of chiropractic patients. Patients will be able to make purchases from a growing list of products directly from the storefront on their doctor's website.

Q What is the Chiropractic Depot's Professional Storefront?
A The Chiropractic Depot professional storefront is the storefront that appears inside association's websites who use the NYK services for their website. On this storefront, Doctors of Chiropractic will be able to make purchases of supplies and products they need in their office, and save money in the process.

Q

What types of products are listed on the Chiropractic Depot consumer storefront?

A Products listed on this site are focused toward sales to consumers with a particular focus on the chiropractic and wellness minded patient. Doctors with this storefront can encourage patients to go directly to their website and purchase health, fitness, and wellness related products. Doctors will receive a portion of such sales as a commission, and will generate income from sales made from their site.

Q What types of products are listed on the Chiropractic Depot professional storefront?
A Products listed on this storefront are for sales to Doctors of Chiropractic. These products may include items which doctors can purchase for direct resale in their offices, or products and supplies for use in their offices. The Professional Storefront will appear within chiropractic associations' and group's websites who utilize the Now You Know website service. These associations can promote such sales on their sites in order to increase passive revenue from their website.

Q How many Chiropractic Depot storefronts are there?
A Chiropractic Depot initiated this service in the spring of 2007. Now You Know is the largest provider of websites to both Doctors of Chiropractic, and to Chiropractic Associations. We anticipate that the number of participants will continually increase. As of early 2007, NYK hosted over 20 associations and groups, and over 1200 doctor's websites. We anticipate a significant increase in both those numbers as the Chiropractic Depot service is promoted to the chiropractic profession. The potential for storefronts to sell products is substantial.

Q What types of products can be listed on the Chiropractic Depot Consumer storefronts?
A

The products that can be listed on a Chiropractic Depot consumer storefront can include items for public consumption in the areas of health, fitness, and wellness. These products should fall into six general categories. These are:

  4. Nutritional / Vitamin

  6. Symptom / Therapeutic

  1. Chiropractic Office Supplies
  2. Chiropractic Equipment
  3. Practice Enhancement
  4. Educational / Books
  5. Lifestyle / Other

Q How do I get the money from sales?
A The money from sales is deposited directly into a checking account that you specify. You may want this to be your primary business account, or you may want to open a separate checking account to receive funds form Chiropractic Depot sales

Q Who is responsible for the product warrantees?
A The seller, vendor, or manufacturer of the product is responsible for all product warrantees. Part of the agreement to list products on Chiropractic Depot is accepting responsibility for the products, and providing contact information for product servicing. The doctors, associations, and Chiropractic Depot are to be held harmless for products and are not responsible for any warrantees or returns.

Q Are there any guidelines for product pricing?
A There should be a significant enough commission built into each sale item. The commission portion of a sale will also include commission fees for Chiropractic Depot, minus transactions fees which Chiropractic Depot will pay. Products with a slim profit margin may not work for this type of sales approach. Smaller products may need to be bundled into larger packages in order to work within this system. The Chiropractic Depot price should represent a discount over full retail. This further will add incentive for sale of the product through the doctor's or association's website.

Q What is the structure for pricing an item?
A

If your company wants to sell an ergonomic chair in the Consumer Storefront of Chiropractic Depot, you may choose to show a pricing structure that looks like this example.

MSRP / Retail Price - $100.00 (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price)
Chiropractic Depot Price - $80.00 (Price on Chiropractic Depot that item can be sold for, showing a discounted price)
Vendor Fee - $40.00 (Amount vendor expects to receive for sale of item)
Commission - $40.00 (Amount to be split between doctor and Chiropractic Depot. This split is determined by Chiropractic Depot after calculating any transactions fees)
Shipping & Handling - $12.50 (sent to vendor with vendor fee)
Tax - $6.00 (sent to vendor with shipping and vendor fee)

Q What about shipping costs?
A A determination of shipping costs will need to be made prior to listing on the Chiropractic Depot storefronts. This will be added to the final price at the time of the sale and sent to the seller/vendor/manufacturer with the fee for the item sold.

Q What about sales taxes?
A The seller/vendor/manufacturer is responsible for any and all sales tax. We realize that sales tax requirements may vary in different jurisdictions. As the seller/vendor or manufacturer, you are responsible for being in compliance with all taxes. You will need to notify us at the time of listing if and how sales taxes are to be collected on sales.
