| Q | What is Chiropractic Depot? |
| A | Chiropractic Depot is a storefront inside of your Now You Know association website that carries a variety of products and supplies for Doctors of Chiropractic to purchase. Doctors can purchase items from the storefront inside your NYK website and have these items shipped directly to their address. For each sale that is made on your NYK website, your association or group will earn a commission. |
| Q | How can I get a Chiropractic Depot storefront for my association's website? |
| A | Chiropractic Depot is available for associations with a Now You Know website. If you already have a NYK website, you can easily add the Chiropractic Depot by requesting that a Chiropractic Depot storefront be placed on your site. If have you another website, in most cases you can transfer the unique information on your site to a new NYK site. |
| Q | How does Chiropractic Depot work? |
| A | It is very simple. With a NYK association website, you can get a Chiropractic Depot professional storefront inside your NYK website. Doctors and visitors who go there can make purchases through your storefront. The manufacturer or vendor will then ship the purchased items directly to the purchaser. For each sale that is made on your site's storefront, your association will receive a commission. |
| Q | What products are available in this storefront? |
| A | The list of products available on a Chiropractic Depot professional storefront includes a continually growing list of supplies and products that Doctors of Chiropractic would want to purchase. These products fall into five general categories. These are:

| Q | Can I select which products are in this storefront? |
| A | Yes - Absolutely! Associations will have several options to select which products are available for sale on their storefront.
Ultimately, you have total control over what can be sold on your storefront. |
| Q | Is there more than one type of Chiropractic Depot Storefront? |
| A | Yes, there are two types of storefronts. One is a Consumer Storefront that will allow manufactures and vendors of health and wellness products access to hundreds of thousands of chiropractic patients. The second type of storefront is a Professional Storefront whereby Chiropractors can make purchases of supplies and products that they need for their office. |
| Q | Can our association have a Consumer Chiropractic Depot Storefront? |
| A | No. Consumer storefronts are reserved for only Doctors of Chiropractic websites. The consumer storefronts are designed to assist the doctors in making sales to their patients. We do not want associations to be in competition for sales with the doctors who have consumer storefronts in their websites. |
| Q | How much are the commissions? |
| A | The commissions will vary with each individual product. These commissions have been negotiated by Chiropractic Depot prior to products being made available for the storefront. You can see the commissions for each product in the control center where you can select which products you want to appear on the storefront. |
| Q | How does my association or group receive the monies from commissions? |
| A | The monies from the commissions from sales are deposited directly into a checking account that you specify. You may want this to be the association's primary business account, or you may want to open a separate checking account to receive funds from sales. |
| Q | How will we know when a sale is made? Can the association track the sales? |
| A | When sales are made, the association will receive a notification email of that sale. Additionally, the association can view a report in your Chiropractic Depot control center that will show you the sales made on the association's storefront. |
| Q | Can the association list a product in the storefront? |
| A | You cannot list products yourself. Your association can, however, submit prospective products to us for consideration. We will then negotiate with the manufacturer to see if it fits the Chiropractic Depot model. All products listed are then available for sale on all the professional storefronts with all associations. |
| Q | Who is responsible for the product warrantees? |
| A | The manufacturer or actual seller of the product is responsible for all product warrantees. Part of their agreement to list products on Chiropractic Depot is their accepting responsibility for the products, and providing contact information for product servicing. |
| Q | We like the current website we have. Can my association still get a Chiropractic Depot? |
| A | Yes, your association has two choices two options. First, if you like the unique content that is in your current website and it is not copyrighted by another company, we can usually transfer that content over to a new NYK site and your association can then have a Chiropractic Depot. If your association does not want to transfer, you will still need to get an NYK website that will work in conjunction with your association's current site. We will then create another website for you that can be placed inside your current association's website and that second site will contain a Chiropractic Depot. The standard agreement between NYK and the association for a free booth at conventions will still apply. |
| Q | Are there any legal issues? |
| A | You are not actually selling items on your site. You are accepting commissions from vendor's sales for directing, and allowing patients and visitors to purchase products from your storefront. The vendor is normally responsible for any sales taxes. However, state laws are continually changing and you should keep abreast and remain in compliance with any unique laws for this type of arrangement. Additionally, you should always be in compliance with state licensing laws relative to your practice act. If you have any questions in this area please consult your State Board. |
